Senior Show and End of Year

Please join the Arts Department in honoring our seniors who are in advanced art classes. 

It is a busy time in the photo classes as we finish up the year.  Portfolios are due on May 28.  Stellar work has been done in both the photo 3-4 and 5-6 classes.

Pushing Towards the End

Ah, 4th quarter.  Everybody is finishing up with some fantastic work.  The variety of photo essays in the 3-4 classes is so exciting.  In Photo 5-6 we are starting photo intaglios and photo liths.  So FUN!!
The senior show is coming up.  It opens on May 22nd.  This year we are also having an alumni show.  That opens on May 10 and closes on the 22nd.

Photo of the Week Winners and Others

WOW!  Fantastic entries to the Photo of the Week with the theme CHIAROSCURO.  Students in the 3/4 class are working on a project that explores Light, Shadows and Reflections, so the theme really fit.  These were, by far, the best images submitted for the photo of the week.  The winning photographs were taken by Haley Fisher in 7th period and Ella Andoh in 8th.  I decided to post a few others that also showed the theme so well.
